I'm raising money as part of #TeamHelen, a group who have come together in honour of the inspirational Helen Pote who sadly died last year. I never met Helen, but friends of mine who knew her well have told me how she inspired others to believe in themselves and achieve their best. I admire her strength and positivity, and hope that I can bring the same attitude to this extreme physical challenge.

I feel incredibly lucky that, despite my own health problems, I am still able to push myself physically and that I have the opportunity to take part in this challenge whilst raising money for Cancer Research UK, one of Helen's chosen charities.
