Story

"Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow's nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." - Ibn Maajah (738) We bought the new Masjid including refurbishment cost totaling £600,000 with qarde hasana. We recently achieved planning permission for a Mosque and Community Centre to pray 5 times a day. Currently there is no Masjid in the Goresbrook area of Barking and Dagenham. We want to provide a Masjid for prayers and facilities for Children, men and women to learn about our deen - this will be known as Darul Ummah Goresbrook. This noble project is being delivered by Da'watul Islam UK & Eire which has been serving the Muslim community since 1978, We have already successfully established centres in different towns and cities across the UK. Our largest centre is Darul Ummah in central London which serves over 5000 service users every week.
