I am embarking on this bike ride, 4 years from the last time I biked in the open air, in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 3 people are affected by cancer, either directly or by knowing a family member or friend. So I don't think many of you will need much persuasion to agree with me that research into cancer is really vital. Indeed it has saved many lives and will hopefully save many lives in the future. Great strides have been made in the past but there is still a lot to find out. I am hoping my 20 miles of pedalling with power more life-saving and life-enhancing research in the future.
Please support me with a donation - however small. We need to keep the wheels of research turning. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thank you for your support. If you would like to come and watch me to have a good chuckle feel free - I will attempt not to kill any passer-bys or myself (anyone who saw me bike in Cambridge isn't laughing like the rest of you right now). Anyone who buys me an icecream along the way will get a special smile. Chocolate icecream or Twisters get you a hug! :-)
