Story
For me running the London Marathon is a challenge, definitely not an easy task and I will have to dig deep to keep going. Having completed one marathon before, I know that the training in the next few weeks will be very hard, monotonous and a real challenge! I can’t say I enjoy marathon training, but it is my choice.
I’m running for Haydn because he never had a choice. From the beginning of his life, he had to fight. To survive, to achieve his first milestones and to get to what so many others take for granted. By his side Haydn has a strong family that supports him. (His big sister plays football with Anya and Haydn often comes to the game to support her)
Haydn has been given the chance to have an operation by the NHS, which will hopefully make his life easier in the long term, but in order to achieve the best possible outcome, he will need a lot of therapy after the surgery. Unfortunately, the family will need to contribute to the large amount needed to pay for these therapies. The charity Just4children will be handling all the donations and pay for the treatments directly from the contributions. (If you want to read more about Haydn’s story, please click on the link “Haydn’s Hope” at the top of my fundraising page)
I would be very grateful if you would donate to help Haydn!
