Hi everyone! 

Alex and I have decided to spend our summer holiday hiking the Cotswold Way for ActionAid, a charity that works with women and girls living in poverty.

We will be hiking 102 miles over a week from 22nd May, and the route takes us over an elevation gain of 5,325m, which is the equivalent of climbing Ben Nevis almost 4 times!! 

Why on earth are we doing this on our holiday I hear you ask?! 

Well ActionAid's mission is to make sure women and girls are safe from harm, able to earn a living and to claim their rights, and they prioritise girls and women's rights and leadership during times of crisis. ActionAid works for positive change to equip women and girls in vulnerable communities around the world with the knowledge and tools they need to survive in a future marked by climate change.

 From now until 4th June, everything you donate will be matched pound for pound by the UK Government, meaning the impact of your support will be doubled!
