A Walk To Remember

Our sunshine boy sadly left us too sudden and young. He died of leukaemia last September, a loss we are all still grappling to believe.
I want to do a walk in memory of my lovely Liam to raise money and awareness for Delete Blood Cancer UK. They do a terrific job at bettering the chances of Leukaemia patients by finding them matching stem cell donors.
Liam’s infectious zest for life and joy for new adventures in life has inspired me to embark on a pilgrimage on part of the Way of St James in Spain for him. I will start in Bilbao on the 20th of July and walk the whole 438 miles to Santiago de Compostela. Every pound and penny is welcome and will go towards Delete Blood Cancer UK.
It is my way of saying thank you to my perfect puzzle piece for all that he gave me and all, who knew and love him. I hope that I can pass on a little bit of the true joy and happiness he brought into my life by giving all brave leukaemia fighters out there a chance to live life like Liam did: to the full, embracing every day.
