Story
Everyone was touched by the accident on the A1 yesterday in which the only survivor was an eight year old boy who was flown by Yorkshire Air Ambulance into the James Cook Memorial Hospital. His parents and two brothers both died. The police said it was a 'miracle he survived' hence the Miracle Fund.
In response to a number of enquiries today Yorkshire Air Ambulance has set this website up as a small way of helping the boy and his remaining family come to terms with whats happened and maybe even be able to look to the future at some point. Every penny of money donated will be passed on to the family
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.

Chief Executive, Yorkshire Air Ambulance

We have been overwhelmed by the response to the appeal, thank you to everyone who has kindly donated.
We are receiving cheques at the charity office in Halifax for the appeal, please can you clearly mark on the back of the cheque "Miracle Fund" and make the cheque payable to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We will then ensure the money goes into the appeal fund.
