Minster Law customer support are currently helping Levi’s Star. A charity which was created in 2008, the charity is in memory of Levi who sadley passed away to a brain tumour, just 6 weeks after finding the diagnosis. Levi was only 6 years old when he passed away with his whole life ahead of him. His mum and grandma has set up a charity to help support families who are also dealing with brain tumours, the charity works alongside Macmillan and offer support to children who have survived the brain tumours but have been left with a range of difficulties afterwards. Levis Star charity looks into offering grants to children such as providing them with gifts, raising awareness of thiLs awful disease and offering support to families affected while promoting research into brain tumour cure centres.
Did you know around 50% of children who are diagnosed with a brain tumour will die as well as 40% of all cancer deaths in children are from brain tumours, this is why me and my colleagues are trying to fundraise and support towards helping find the funding and cure for this dreadful disease, we are looking for local bussinesses to donate alongside donated prizes which we will we auction off at our fundraiser night later on in the year.
Levi's mum Vicky Ringer has also been nomaited for her hard work and commitment with working with children affected with brain tumours, she has shortlisted for Northern Power Women Awars 2020.
