CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth) is a hereditary condition that affects around 25,000 people in the UK. CMT damages the peripheral nerves, which means that muscles become progressively weaker over time, particularly in the hands and feet. It comes in many forms, some of which are more severe than others.
CMT UK is a small national-reaching UK charity, proudly supporting people living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth. The charity relies on fundraising donations to help provide essential services to its community, make the wider community more aware of the condition and support further research.
