Story
Thank you for reading my story. I have decided to set myself a challenge and am going on a crazy adventure to Australia to cycle 1000 miles from Sydney to the end of the Great Ocean Road. 🚴🏼🌏😅😍🇦🇺✈️☀️🌊💚
I have wanted to go to Australia for years and got to opportunity so decided to make it an adventure for a good cause. I want to inspire others to get outdoors and more women to do the adventures they’ve always dreamed about. I will be blogging as I go, sharing Yoga and ‘Stretching for cyclists’ sessions to keep myself mobile along the route and get some more of you stretching and on that injury prevention bandwagon! I will also be raising some money for MindUK; which I think is an excellent charity.
The amazing Sarah Kerr has decided to come and join me on this adventure too!
I have called it the #Mindsetride1000 as everything about this challenge and reasons behind doing it all link back to mindset. A positive mindset will be the key to getting out there and doing it in the first place. Having passion and enthusiasm, even on tough days, making it an adventure, inspiring others and raising money. This in turn all links to the benefits of exercise, getting outdoors and challenging yourself mentally. My experience of self care through injury-prevention yoga with Strength & Motion will support me in growing mentally and physically along the journey. I believe this will enhance my positive mental attitude, wellbeing, fitness and health.
If you have connections on the East or South Coast of Australia; any advice and experience of bike touring in a hot climate or just want share some love💛😊, (which I’ll need when my nether regions hurt and I’m only half way...) I will greatly appreciate it if you get in touch and thank you for your donation.
