Fundraising for Mind
Story
Hello everyone,
We had so much fun last year that I'm again hosting a virtual Christmas crafternoon to raise money for Mind on Saturday 5th December at 2pm (GMT).

Join me and make something crafty and or Christmassy (cake I think would also fit within the remit...), share pictures with other crafters, and make a donation to Mind (suggested £5). We have a facebook event where we can share our photos and chat about our makes and hang out. (https://www.facebook.com/events/697593673643557/)
If you can't join in on the day, then please feel free to say "here's one I made earlier", and make something, share it, and donate anyway :-)
Christmas music, food, jumpers or socks encouraged but not compulsory.
As everyone probably knows by now, Mind is a cause very close to me and I remain incredibly grateful for the work that they do in making it possible to talk about mental health problems and providing support for people affected by them. They need money to support their invaluable information line (which you can now text), to continue to lobby the government and political parties to make mental health a priority, and to support the individual local Minds who provide peer and other support in localities.
I'm hoping that we can get 100 people to participate and thus raise £500 :-)
