Both Mum and Dad raised funds for Wizo over many years and visited grass roots projects together.  Mum was passionate about initiatives in Israel that benefit women and children of all faiths who are in need.  Helping to turn round the lives of these young people was about the lessons learned from Mum and Dad's own early lives in Germany and the East End respectively.
