Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and for supporting Mim as she takes on the challenge of a half marathon!

Mim is taking part in this years Havering half marathon, to raise money for Saint Francis hospice our wonderful local adult hospice, I am proud and privileged to work for this organisation and decided that this year I would tie in my running ( which I undertook during lockdown starting off with the couch to 5K) and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to focus on something a little more challenging.

This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the passing of our lovely dad “ Dan Regan” who after a short diagnosis of pancreatic cancer passed away in December 2011. The hospice at home team were amazing and the support afterwards for me and my mum ( which motivated me to want to work for sfh) was phenomenal. What better way to mark my dads anniversary, remember him and raise some money for sfh running alongside my amazing brother… if you would like to donate any support will be greatly appreciated ….. love Gagey and Dan xx
