Story

Welcome to my 62 Miles in March challenge that I will be tackling with my 9 year old Milo - we aim to run 2 miles per day which will mean running a mile before and after school!

Living with type 1 Diabetes affects every decision I make. As an invisible disease it’s often like walking a tightrope. Though people often don’t see you balancing on that invisible rope, a constant balancing act and challenges are encountered on a daily basis in order to try and maintain healthy sugar levels.

Someone is diagnosed with diabetes every two minutes. More than 5 million people are living with diabetes in the UK right now.

So, I'm taking on this challenge, along with Milo towards a healthier me, and a better future for people living with and affected by diabetes. Support my challenge by hitting the donate button on my profile page. Thank you!
