11 years ago my auntie died suddenly, her heart stopped for no found reason. She was 42 years young, extremely fit and was a wonderful person. 

At least 12 young people a week die suddenly from undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY's (Cardiac Risk in the Young) Vision is to work with cardiologists and family doctors to promote and protect the cardiac health of the young by establishing good practice and screening facilites devoted to significantly reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death throughout the UK.

Running this half marathon is my way of setting my self a challenge and raising money for an amazing cause that is close to my heart.
