On 2nd April, my dad & I will be running the London Landmark’s Half Marathon in memory of Gary Chapman, who sadly passed away on 24th March 2022.
There aren’t enough words to describe what Gary meant to us but simply put, he was the best of best friends and an amazing uncle, who we miss so much. There’s not a day that goes by without Gary in our thoughts.
We wanted to do something in his name and The Royal Marden was something Gary always spoke about. Gary was a patient there when he had cancer many years ago, and he often described the unbelievable care he received. This is just a small thing we are doing in honour of Gary, but hopefully we can raise a lot of money to help others in a similar situation.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure the nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Any donations would be hugely appreciated ❤️
Lots of love,
Millie & Tony xxx
