We train rural health workers to provide emergency dental care

Story

Leaving pizza and prosecco behind, which may surprise a lot of you.. We are journeying to Tanzania. We'll be setting up clinics and teaching local health workers to provide emergency dental care for those in need. A far cry from teeth whitening and Invisalign.

We are all lucky enough to have access to dental care in the UK, however, to these people access is extremely limited and can be the difference between living and dying. We want to help provide treatment to enable communities to have a quality of life free from pain, infection and disease.

We'd really appreciate any help you can give us to reach our target and help provide much needed treatment and supplies.

So what else are we doing to gain your support....

1. London to Brighton Cycle Ride (...a whopping 54 miles)

2. Three Peak Challenge (the highest 3 UK peaks in 24 hours...but we have trained well for late nights most Friday and Saturdays for many years...)

Along with these physical challenges we will be doing some more 'us' type activates including a pub quiz at the Windsor & Eton Brewery and Wine Tasting

...............because we still need to remain true to ourselves and get some prosecco based selfies along the way.

Any contributions, be them big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Every penny helps us get nearer to our goal.

A big thank you in advance.

Love Louise and Millie xxx

There is a desperate need to tackle oral disease, infection and chronic pain throughout the developing world - to enable people to work, attend school and care for families. We teach skills that mean local people are able to function free from pain, and avoid preventable infections and diseases.
