We help homeless people to rebuild their lives

Story

The Big Worcester Sleep Out will return Friday 14th October 2022 to Six Ways Stadium to raise money for three Worcester Charities; St Pauls Hostel, Worcester Warriors Foundation, and Maggs Day Centre.

The causes
We are aiming to raise funds that will be split equally between St Pauls Hostel, Warriors Community Foundation, and Maggs Day Centre.

The Mission

Our mission is to raise awareness of the complex issues surrounding homelessness within our county, and the services our charities relentlessly push forward. We started our event to help change perceptions, as well changing lives. Whilst we always seek to create empathy through education, we do not seek to recreate the experience of being homeless.

Comment from the Hewett Team

"Sponsoring The Big Worcester Sleep Out sits perfectly with Hewett Recruitment’s commitment to St Paul’s Hostel as its charity of the year.

Alongside the other volunteering and fundraising activities we are undertaking, it is a great opportunity to raise awareness and funds in support of 3 fantastic local charities – including St Paul’s – that provide such vital services to the local community” commented Ben Mannion, Director of Hewett Recruitment.

Fellow Director, Laura Hewett, added “Having spent some time at St Paul’s and getting to know the team and residents there – our team are keen to take part in the Sleepout, as a way of further connecting with the charity and what the individuals there have been through. We are keen to help spread the word and encourage other local businesses to get involved, through our sponsorship of the event”.
