Hi everyone, this is Millie!  

Next Saturday, 7 October, my Daddy is running a marathon.  He’s never done one before but as he’s been running for a couple of years now he decided to make this his goal for 2012.  He has been training really hard, it seems like he’s always out running!  He’s not just been training at home, because he travels so much with work he has been having to fit it in on his trips too.  Apparently running up big hills in the rain at the Nurburgring weren’t much fun, but running in New Jersey looking at the New York skyline, I guess that must have been pretty cool.

Anyway, having decided to do the marathon, he wanted to use the opportunity to raise money for a charity.  He chose the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  It grants wishes for children with terminal illnesses and both Mummy and Daddy have experienced their work up close through their previous jobs.  It is close to both of their hearts and I think Daddy made a great choice.

Tom and I will be donating our pocket money and I am also making some chocolate crispie cakes which Mummy is going to sell at work to raise money too.

Please show Daddy your support and help the sick children to have their wishes comes true.
