I recently adopted a Romanian rescue dog (Tashi) just 3 weeks a go from Bid To Save A Stray. They have over 1500 dogs in a shelter out in Romania which many have been saved from abuse and horrible lives. I will attach the facebook page which shares stories of some of the abuse the dogs have faced - from being dumped in cardboard boxes to hit by cars and left at the side of the road.

Some of these dogs are so frightened and terrified of everything it really is heart breaking to see. The charity work so hard with all the dogs, ranging from puppies to even dogs aged 15 to try their best to find them a home. The charity rely on donations to help take care of the animals in terms of food, vet bills and maintain the shelter. They really are a great charity and I would love to raise some money to help them out so please donate anything is appreciated!
