I had been begging mummy for months and months to grow my hair so that I would be able to sit on it(!).  I'd been growing it for a long time, but then I saw a girl on tv who donated her hair to help children with cancer and so I went straight to mummy and asked if I could do the same thing.  So I haven't quite managed to sit on my hair but this is so much better!  As it will hopefully help a child with cancer, who has lost their hair, regain some confidence, as well as help future research.  Any money I can raise here will help Little Princess Trust to continue to provide wigs free of charge to those who need them and also fund kinder, more effective treatments for childhood cancers. 

In 2017 my friend Snowy Neville (see photo if you click on gallery!) was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer of the skeletal muscles.  Snowy went through 7 months of chemo and was one of the reasons I was inspired to do this - to help children like her, she was absolutely amazing!!  She is now cancer free and I would really like to help, even a a little, towards making that the case for many more children out there!

Little Princess Trust:

From receiving hair donations at our office, through to fitting and styling a bespoke wig, it costs the charity from £550 to provide a real-hair wig free-of-charge, to our wig recipients. We currently supply over 150 wigs every month. The Little Princess Trust needs financial donations as well as hair donations, in order to fund the actual manufacturing of the wigs and wig-fitting service. Every penny that you can raise, really does count.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.
