Story

The Miller Homes West Midlands team are delighted to be taking part in the Dragon Boat Race 2022 on Friday 23rd September in aid of our Charity of the Year, Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Going up against the likes of Gymshark we are going to need all the help we can get, so please dig deep and raise as much as you can for this wonderful charity.

Plenty of photos will follow with the team in fancy dress rowing down the Mailbox canal, including Donna Salmon as the team drummer which we can't wait to see!

At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to do more for our patients and families. It’s our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital.Your support empowers us to take innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK. Your fundraising enables us to make our hospital feel just like home. Your donations are helping us to find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
