Story

On the 14th November 2015 my mum, Marion Rees, died from cancer.

Her journey in her final year was a long and difficult one which she undertook with great bravery, humour and immense physical fortitude.  We miss her everyday and the Nana shaped whole in our lives can't ever be filled.  But the courage with which she faced what life brought her continues to be an inspiration to all those who knew her.  So many friends and family supported her through her illness. And Penny Brohn and its wonderful staff were there at the forefront to give guidance, help, advice and a sanctuary through the toughest of times.

I"m honoured to be given the challenge to run my first marathon to raise funds and awareness for Penny Brohn and support the amazing work they continue to do.

I'll be sending regular updates on my training and progress so please check in regularly, come with me on the challenge. And thanks for your support.
