Story
So it’s me again doing something bonkers for charity as I have decided to take on the Ultra Challenge of walking 100km from Richmond London to Brighton Racecourse
In 2020 during a long summer I was not myself and continued on my day to day basis, After months of months of spinning plates they all crashed down and I realised I was depressed and like the plates my mental health crashed to the floor. At the time I found it difficult to talk to anyone and hid it away from everyone which was so tough on not just myself but my family who could see I was not myself and deteriorating in front of them.
Mind is a charity that I have understood more and more since suffering my breakdown and to think of the millions of other people who have been through something similar or worse is devastating. We need to make sure people are comfortable to talk and in doing this have access to the correct tools to come through and live through it or live with it.
