Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you can see, I'm running for CLAN Aberdeen and most of you probably know they helped my family and me through tough times when my mum passed away back in 2004.  They really do provide an essential support function in Aberdeen and I cannot commend them enough for the work they do.

This is the 1st time I've ran in an event, I've been training for a while now and providing my shins don't give in I'm going to give it a good go!

Here's hoping the all inclusive buffet doesn't lead me a stray on holiday!!!

Coincidentally I've found out that snorkelling with flippers really helps with stretching the muscles around the shin so hopefully that will keep the shin splints at bay!  Who said it was a bad idea to go on holiday 2 weeks before running the 10K :o)

Hopefully see you on the day!

Michael
