Story
UPDATE 02-07-08: Completed in 23 1/2 hours and without doubt the hardest thing I have done both physically (and mentally) to date. My initial reaction on completion was "Never EVER again", however I have since mellowed (once I could walk again!) and am working out what areas I could improve on for the next time. We were so lucky with the weather and the views were nothing short of spectacular - hence the attached shot at the top of Ben Nevis - absolutely stunning. If you've already given then thank you again. If you're reading this for the first time and toying with the idea - then please do so now - this site will be taking donations until September. If you want to be kept notified of upcoming events and fancy pushing your personal limits plus raising money for worthy causes such as this one then e:mail me direct on mikeyates@121business.co.uk

The Event:
Ok, so I've hurled myself out of a plane at 13,000 ft, raced all night in go karts on a number of occasions, jogged for miles in the searing heat of summer and dressed in some very bizarre costumes over the years and yes...I have felt a bit of a pillock at times to be honest (especially the elf suit with the green tights just before christmas!).
And yet I hear you shout for more??? More effort, more pain and more gain?.
More Gain? Yes, 'cos it's all in the name of a great cause that's making a real difference to peoples lives throughout the UK. The more you give, the more those (who may be less fortunate that ourselves) GAIN !
And so the events get bigger. This time its Three Mountains, Three Countries in one day. Ben Nevis, Scafell Pyke and Snowdon with a lightening driver and support team in between. We really want this to be a 'biggie', so please dig deep and donate.
As you can see from the photo I am totally...er....confident with this one. I do know that the more donations given will do wonders for the confidence - so please help me make this event a huge success,
The training has now started in earnest ! It takes place mid June - please give as much as you can,
Thank you,
Mike
