At the tender age of 41 after reading my daughter a bed time story I walked down stairs and collapsed....... a few minutes later the ambulance arrived and put the blue lights on all the way to the hospital. After being examined and looked after by the great team at the Royal Berks I was informed that I had a TIA..... thanks Nicole, Dr Van Wyk for your great care and support.

The next day I thought I would take a few days off but ended up working. A week later, the blue lights were back in the neighbourhood and I was being transported once again by the paramedics to my second home the Royal Berks

40 is too young to have heart problems and with the support and love of my family and friends I am finally getting my new healthy lifestyle in place. I still have a long way to go as I love that naughty food and the odd glass(s) of Red wine :-( ......but hopefully by getting on my bike and hitting the tarmac I am turning things around in my favour.

I am no Bradley Wiggins but I need to lose weight, get fit and show my support to the British Heart Foundation.
