Story
Hello!
On Sunday 22nd November, I’m heading off on my bicycle to visit every member of
my family, from my Grandma down.
I’ll be away for 28 days, cycling for 22 of those, should cover something like 1500 miles, and will probably hate my bicycle by the end of it. The route takes me from Oxford down as far as Plymouth, and up as far as York, and then back home via Norfolk.
In Norwich I’ll be staying with my cousin Anna and her kids, Oliver and Sophie. Little Sophie has had a tough time the last three years, diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was coming up to two years old, and all the complications that have followed from that.
I’ll be raising money on my trip for The Sick Children’s Trust, who have been a massive help for Sophie and her family whilst she's been receiving the treatment that she's had to endure. They provide high quality 'Home from Home' accommodation for families whose children are receiving hospital treatment for serious illness.
You can read more about Sophie and the difficult journey she’s been on here:

I'd love to think that every mile I pedal I've raised a quid for this fantastic charity. Maybe that's a bit ambitious! Do get in touch whilst I'm away. I'll be blogging and tweeting when I can.Lots of love and thanks for your support.
Mike
