Our Pops, Mike Bellwood, died in late May 2022 after a short illness caused by an infection. He had a peaceful end, attended to by his three children.

Developing Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease was tough for Mike as they made him especially vulnerable to the low moods he had experienced throughout his life. We want to help Mind continue their great work combatting all mental health conditions and the stigma that often comes with them, especially for men. As we remember the happy times we spent with our Dad, we hope your money will make dark times less frequent for others.

We would also like to pay tribute to the staff of Parkview care home in Edmonton, North London. Their skill, dedication, and endless warmth thoughout Dad's time there was as remarkable as it was invaluable to us. To be able to sustain those high standards during the nightmare-ish conditions of the Covid pandemic was nothing short of heroic.
