PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK. On August 8th 2020, in memory of Becky our sister who we lost to suicide many years ago, we will be cycling a 322km route from Macclesfield to Coggeshall. Additionally Mike will be riding the Dunwich Dynamo (London to Dunwich) as well as the Redbull Timelaps (sic) 25 hour race (acceptance pending). with those 3 challenges alone, Mike is likely to be covering over 1000km of riding, in addition to his regular cycle commute.
