I'm still not sure how this happened, but I've agreed to cycle from Sheffield to Surrey for charity. It helps that the charity is such a good one: a small local Surrey organisation that supports those facing life-threatening illness. I also see this as an opportunity finally (maybe) to get fit, and have some fun.
I hate running, I hate the gym, I'm useless at team sports. But I quite like riding a bike. (I think it's being able to sit down that appeals.) If you know me, you'll know I'm the last person to do this sort of thing, so it's incredibly impressive and in itself worth vast sums of your cash. You may pledge them here.
