Last year I heard about Barcelona Bangers where you buy a car for under £250 and drive from Calais to Barcelona for charity. Now I used to be a banger racing driver so I thought I could achieve three goals in one hit:- 1) Raise money for charity, 2) Recapture my youth and 3) have a great weekend away from the wife! My brother has decided to join me and I managed to get a Jaguar that for better words 'had seen its day' and set about 'pimping it up' and getting it back on the road. Two other members from work joined our team and brought an escort estate and after many trips to the pub (obviously for meetings) we came up with the idea of doing 'The Only Way Is Essex' theme. We have prepared the cars for what looks like will be a trip to remember (judging by last years stories) and have started decorating the vehicles in pink etc which has caused a few raised eye brows at work as we all work in haulage. We will keep everyone updated with our progress and we will install a tracker system so that you can follow the car on its adventure. The event itself takes us from Calais down through France, stopping in various places, onto Cannes then ending in Barcelona (and hopefully back again - lol). 

We hope to raise as much money as we can for Little Havens.
