On the 3rd September 2022, Peter Oughton, the much-loved husband, brother, father of four, grandfather of eleven, great-grandfather of ten, local business owner and employer, Hatfield Rotary Club leading member, Santa Claus impersonator, memoir writer, home self-builder. Royal Air Force server, West Ham United supporter, international traveller, wine cork craftsman and collector... took his last, well-earned, snooze.

As he chose to do so at home, the family would like any donations in Peter’s memory to go to Rennie Grove Hospice Care, a charitable organisation, giving people with life limiting illnesses the choice to stay at home.
