Story
I'm proud to say that on the 18th May 2011 I successfully arrived at South Haven point thus completing this magnificent walk in 44 days. This has to rank with one of the best experiences of my life, an experience that took me through some of the most breath taking scenery I've seen where you begin to lose words to describe what you're seeing, and where scenery can almost move you to tears because of it's immense beauty. To encounter wildlife that I've never seen in the wild like adders on the path, seals sunbathing on the rocks, birds of prey riding the thermals effortlessly and then there was natures garden a breath taking array of beautiful wildflowers.
This walk has been a long term dream of mine and took a lot of planning and without the love and support of my family and work colleagues it might not have happen but I have to say it was a huge privilege to be able to be one with nature for such a long period of time, and it certainly helped having one of the hottest Aprils on record as well!!
This walk was also an opportunity for me to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Everyman Charity which looks into male cancers and I'm extremely proud to say as of this moment I've been able to raise over £3000.00 for this very worth while charity. Which brings me onto a huge thank you to all the generous people for their extremely kind donations; it has really restored my faith in the human race.
