Story
I have been given a ballot entry (one of 20,000) into the first Ride London 100 mile bike ride. The ride starts at the Olympic stadium and follows the Olympic road race route over Boxhill and finishing on the Mall outside Buckingham Palace.
I am riding and raising money in memory of my mother-in-law Debbie who unfortunately lost her fight against lung cancer in March this year. Debbie was supported by Macmillan during her illness and was very grateful of the exceptional work they do. Debbie suggested I raise money for Macmillan as a way of remembering her and in raising much needed funds for their ongoing and extremely valuable support of cancer sufferers.
