Running for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is very important to me. 14 years ago, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia and didn't have the highest of chances of survival. 

Thankfully, through the love of my family and friends and the unfaltering quality of medical care I received in Newcastle, I am still around today in the hope that I can give something back.

The brilliant doctors and nurses would have had nothing to work with though if it wasn't for charities such as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

I've set a £500 aim as I know those close to me will dig deep to try and help others in the same way I was helped when I was 7 years old. Running a 10k is nothing in comparison to what I and many others have been through. Donating will help insure that future children and adults won't have to go through what I went through all those years ago.
