We offer respite & palliative care to children, young people & their families

Story

Hi All !

Thanks for taking  the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please please please donate in the way of sponsorship for my charity moped ride from John O Groats to Land's End.

Derian House is a  hospice supporting terminally ill children and their families. This wonderful organisation relies on charitable donations and so every penny you give really helps to make a difference.

Recently having raised some money for Derian House with a few of the children from my work I was invited to go to the hospice for a visit.

Initially i was rather reluctant as i was worried that I would show my true colours and cry like a baby, however i managed to get a grip and was glad that I had plucked up the courage although the experience was very very humbling indeed.

The work done by this charity to support the children and their families is inspirational and I can only begin to imagine what they have to endure.

I dont mind admitting that when i got home and was cuddling my son i did shed a tear or two.

I would be very grateful for any donation you wish to make for Derian house.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks Mike.
