Story
As most of you know I acquired a beautiful puppy called ‘Dunky’ 15 months ago. He has completely revolutionised my lifestyle and has had a tremendous effect on my much needed mental wellbeing. With his body developing stronger he is now ready to join me and between us, give something back to a charity that remains so very close to my heart.
What better than ‘ Mutt Strutting’ in April, and Dunky will need to complete a minimum of 100km. We want to also do this a little bit differently too.
If you are able, Dunky would love to share the distance with as many of his friends and other dogs as possible. With a combination of walks planned in various locations whether its a Country Park in Leicester, a pre Match Day strutt around The Amex, a stroll over The Sussex Downs or along Brighton Beach then Dunky would love you to join him.
This will be my last charity event before my target date of June 23rd, which hopefully I will then be asked by my Consultant Team to go and ‘Ring the Bell’ confirming I am 5 years clear.. so I would dearly love to be in a position to make this one momentous.
I am under no illusion of the everyday pressures and constraints we all are now experiencing with the rising cost of living and supporting charities like mine becomes even more uncomfortable for me to ask to support. Cancer effects so many of us in one way or another and Maggie’s is Everyone’s Home of Cancer.
So if you can spare a ‘few quid’ or even as little as a £1 collectively this would make a difference.
Furthermore I pledge that whatever we raise overall I will then match in time to present to Maggies on June 23rd.
We plan to share as many photos as possible throughout April and would dearly love and encourage for you to come and have a Strutt with my Mutt Dunky and collectively with a small donation help us achieve our goal.
Please message me if you would like to join us.
Thank you
Lots of Woof
Dunky & Mike 🧡🐾
