We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

This JustGiving page is in loving memory of "our dad" Vic (Victor Threlfall), who sadly left us on the 9th November 2011.

The RNIB were key to helping him with the simple things in life that we all take for granted, reading a book, making a cup of tea or knowing the time!

Dad's little speaking clock always got put in the draw when little Lucy came around otherwise we all knew the time to the second.

The Talking Book service is a amazing service which dad greatly enjoyed. This particular service cost £4 Million pounds a year to run so every penny you can donate would greatly be appreciated.

Anyhow, please help me raise lots of money for this
excellent charity...

Oh and those legs on the right are not mine!

Find out more about the run by visiting the official Liverpool Mersey 10K website: http://www.runliverpooltunnel10k.co.uk/

Finished it in 1hr 12mins and 3secs!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
