We are walking from Rhossilli to Mumbles as Team Owain to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer support in memory of an inspirational young man Owain Baglow.

Owain was hardworking who excelled in his academic work in school and in Aberystwyth University achieving very good results and receiving many awards for his work.

His spare time was taken up with many interests but his great love was the Great outdoors. This started with the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme where he achieved Gold,Silver and Bronze awards. In University he joined The Aberystwyth Expedition Society ( The Expeds) and thoroughly enjoyed their many expeditions and socials each week. The Expeds would regularly go to Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons and also went further afield to The Lake District, The Peak District, Scotland and also to Norway and Sweden.

Owain was so proud to be voted President of "The Expeds" during his 3rd year in University.

 It was during this period that Owain became ill and he fought this awful disease with huge courage and bravery and also with his own sense of humour.

Team Owain is made up of family and many friends walking in memory of Owain for Macmillan Cancer Support who provided Owain with help and support. Macmillan do a fantastic job and any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
