Our global project to South Africa will take place over the summer, lasting for approximately 6 weeks, from May 15 - July 1. We will be partnering with EMI (Ethnos Movement International) whose purpose is to plant self-sustaining indigenous churches. Our Palm Beach Atlantic University team will be joined by students from other countries as well for a truly international immersion. This Africa MOVE (Mobilized, Outreach, Experience, Values) outreach may involve a variety of activities. This may include participation with local churches in rural and urban contexts, ministry among 40,000 Somalian peoples residing in S. Africa, teaching conversational English and involvement in ministries to children, youth and women on the street. Our group may also support and serve alongside EMI at a Youth Leadership Development Camp and Holiday Bible Camp. The South Africa project emphasizes discipleship, practical service projects, relationship building and outreach.
