Thank you for hosting a virtual food drive to raise funds for Second Harvest Foodbank.

Story

Middleton Area Progressives has chosen to celebrate the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris by teaming up with the Inaugural Committee's participation in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. The committee has asked that projects be related to Covid relief and, with this in mind, MAP is hosting a virtual fundraiser for Second Harvest Foodbank's Adopt a Cow program. By supporting this initiative you will be modeling the empathetic leadership that will characterize the Biden -Harris administration, honoring the legacy of Dr. King, helping local families in need and supporting local dairy farmers.

About the charity

For about 1 in 8 of us in southwestern Wisconsin that next meal isn’t always there. That means 7 in 8 of us probably don’t know what it’s like to have to water down our food just to make it stretch another day. Or to skip eating dinner so your kids can have enough to eat. That’s real hunger!
