Story
The Branch was established October 1993 to provide support and contact with people diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in the Mid Kent area. The Branch is run entirely by volunteers and we are always happy to welcome new volunteers on board. We are incredibly grateful for all those who give their time and donate funds to the Branch.
We are here to help and support people living in the Mid-Kent area who are affected by MND. We provide information and advice and are able to offer both emotional and practical support in a number of different ways.
We have a team of trained volunteers known as Association Visitors, who can provide free and confidential support for you, your carers, family and close friends
Your donations will ensure we can provide essential equipment not provided by statutory services and complementary therapy to anyone who may benefit from it. We also run and fund support groups (currently online but usually in person) at both the Wisdom Hospice, Rochester and the Heart of Kent Hospice, Aylesford.
Every penny raised for the Branch goes to provide support and ensure that no one living with Motor Neurone Disease, or their carers, should feel alone or struggle to access the support or equipment they need
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
