Transaid is a fantastic organisation that works in the developing world, putting in place transport infrastructure where it is needed the most, and raising safety standards through projects such as HGV driver training.
Transaid has had incredible success fighting Malaria, by ensuring medicines are available, and supporting pregnant women experiencing difficulties in childbirth reach medical facilities.
The organisation is made up of a great group of people who work tirelessly to ensure Transaid continues to have a real impact, improving lives and addressing serious problems and challenges.
In October 2022, six of the Microlise team will take on the Cycle Malawi challenge, joining others from the road transport industry, cycling 500km over five days. The group will face extreme heat, tough terrain and all of the other difficulties you might expect in such a difficult challenge.
