Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 25th August we will be running the Arundel 10km to raise money for Happy Staffie Rescue.
Unfortunately Staffordshire Bull Terriers will end up in rescue for many different reasons. In recent years this breed has become one of the most unwanted types of dog due in some part to a minority of owners who have tried to use the breed not as a loving family member but as a status symbol. This in turn has hindered the image of the dog from a playful, happy breed to some kind of fighting dog – something that could not be further from the truth.
Anybody who knows us will know of our mutual love for the lil fellas, and as four legs are better than two, we are both running to help re-establish their nickname as ‘the nanny dog’ and rid them of their tarnished image.
We would be grateful if you could show us your support and provide us with that extra nudge for when we reach our moments of struggle on the day.
