Story
I'm a runner and normally do not run for a charity...however.
A fellow runner and friend, Mick Sherriff died in November 2012 after battling cancer.
He was 46.
He was cared for by St Benedicts in Sunderland and I would like to raise a little bit of cash for them to say thank you
I was planning to run the Stanley Marathon (Falkland Islands) in March and will be dedicating it to Mick but I can't get the time off from work. So every race I do this year will be dedicated to Mick and hopefully, fingers crossed, including the Newcastle Marathon. (it's a hideous course and hold no appeal to me but i remember beeping and waving at Mick quite a few years ago when I passed him running it) in October/November and finishing with an ultra marathon early next year. (Lightning 12 hour)
Money is tight at the moment, so understand that you might be unable to donate but if you can; thank you.
