Story
It's me (again).
On Sunday 25th April I will be running in the London Marathon, in order to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society and I am hoping that you can support my effort and sponsor me for the event. This is a charity very close to my heart as my mum suffers with a form of Alzheimer’s disease (Lewy Body variant of Alzheimer’s disease) and the society have been a great source of comfort, help and information for our family. Without voluntary contributions the Alzheimer’s Society could not survive and would not be able to continue the help they give to people with the disease and their carer’s. The London Marathon is the biggest fund raiser the society have in the year and every penny raised will make a tremendous difference. Alternatively, I am also trying to raise awareness of the disease, so please visit the societies website at http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/ to find out more information about the incredible work they do.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Update.....A massive thank you to Bert and Patricia Glynn for their cheque for £1,000. Thank you so much
