I am running with a small team of first time and casual runners, from work. The one thing we all share in common, is that our families or extended families, have been touched by cancer.

So we chose The Christie.

We are now part of the fight against cancer, and its a fight we are determined to win.

We can only do our bit, and our bit is to drag our weary arses around Manchester, in the hope of raising some money.

I'm an old git, but I have done this run before, a couple of years ago. That time I raised £515 for Alzheimer Society, so this time I have set myself a target of £600,
