Story

I am kindly asking for your support to help rid the world of this awful disease. I have had the scare of cancer and have lost to many friends and family members to this disease. Prostate Cancer is a growing problem for men,  i've just had my first check-up at 67,  I got ticked off by my doctor for not being checked earlier for a disease that is curable if it is caught early enough. I am all good but wanted to do my bit in spreading the word so I have joined a great bunch of guys learning to sing for the Men United in Song 2022 Project Choir. We are rehearsing over the next nine weeks towards a spectacular charity event in aid of Prostate Cancer UK on Saturday 7th May, when we will perform live on stage at the beautiful Peterborough Cathedral in front of a huge audience of family, friends and supporters.

We are not only tuning our voices to sing over this time but also singing out a message to all our family and friends to raise as much money as we can for this important charity. We are having fun rehearsing, its hard work and sometimes stressful especially reaching those high notes for us bass/baritones(how do those tenors do it?). Our hard work, stresses and strains is nothing like living with cancer, so please give generously, help others less fortunate and be a supporter of our great team as our voices ring out for charity in a few weeks

Thank you

Mick
