We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year, our nephew, Bleddyn, died suddenly from diabetes-related complications.  He was twenty-five.
Bleddyn's sister, Blanche, set about finding a challenge that would unite this close but far-flung family in love for her brother whilst raising money for Diabetes UK.  So, here we are, enrolled for the Bristol Half-Marathon, on September 21st....Himself will run whilst Herself will walk - briskly, she hopes!
There is no cure, yet, for this increasingly common disease.  We, the family and friends have pledged to raise at least £10,000 for the continued research into diabetes and for the support of those living, directly and indirectly, with its consequences.
If you would like to help us reach our target - thus providing a fitting memorial to Bleddyn-you can contribute directly by clicking on the "Justgiving" button.  However, we do have sponsorship forms, so all donations can be sent to us to be passed on to Diabetes UK.
Thank you and God Bless,  C & M xx
